SubscribeHow to choose a hand-knitted or crocheted garment size in the Elegance Alley?
-

Body measurements do not reflect the measurements of a knitted or crocheted garment!
The measuresments of knitted garments, given in the product description, indicate the measurements of the garment, not the measurements of the human body, expressed in centimeters. You should choose the right size for yourself based on this information. In knitwear and lace, the looseness index is also indicated, e.g. ± 3 cm, it is included in the circumference size, i.e. the indicated centimeters are the final number and nothing more needs to be added or subtracted from it. Knitted garments with a cable pattern often look smaller than the indicated measurements, but when worn, the patterns correspond to the body shapes and the size becomes "real".

When choosing a blouse, jacket, sweater, you should pay attention to the length of the garment. If the garment does not reach the hips, then it is recommended to choose the garment according to the chest circumference, especially if garment has set-in sleeves or the model is fitted. This way, the garment will fit more beautifully in the shoulders, sleeves, chest and waist areas.
If the length of the sweater, jacket, cardigan, blouse, dress is till the hip circumference line or below, it is recommended to choose the garment according to the hip circumference measurements.
