Nm is an important indicator of yarn properties, such as Nm 12/3 or Nm 40/6:

1. The first number indicates the length of one kilogram of yarn in kilometers. So if we have 12 and 40, then we know that the lengths of 1 kg of yarn will be 12 and 40 kilometers.

2. The second number indicates how many strands of the thread are twisted. So if we have 3 and 6, then we know that the yarn is twisted from 3 and 6 strands.
